Welcome to Aupod. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aupod website, web applications, and all features, tools, and services we offer (together, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, browsing our site, or using our services, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

1. Our Services

Aupod provides digital tools and support to assist individuals, freelancers, sole traders, and small businesses in Australia to:

  • Track income and expenses
  • Generate tax-related reports
  • Facilitate or assist with tax return preparation and lodgement
  • Access support from tax professionals (where available)
2. Account Creation

To access most features, you must register for an account and provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login details
  • All activity occurring under your account
  • Promptly updating your information to keep it accurate

Aupod reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Fees and Billing
  • Service fees are displayed on our Pricing page and may include GST.
  • You may be charged per return, per transaction, or via fee-from-refund where available.
  • Payments are processed via secure third-party platforms.
  • By using our Services, you authorise us to debit your nominated payment method.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in denial of services or delays in tax lodgement.

4. User Data & Privacy

We handle personal and financial data in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy.

You consent to us collecting and using your data for:

7. Service Availability & Limitations

While Aupod work hard to ensure uptime, we do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access to the Platform
  • Real-time accuracy of calculations
  • Timely lodgement in all cases (especially during peak ATO periods)

Aupod is not liable for losses caused by service interruptions, third-party system errors, or ATO processing delays.

8. Tax Compliance Disclaimer

You are ultimately responsible for:

  • The accuracy of information provided
  • Reviewing any tax return before final lodgement
  • Ensuring your compliance with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)

We provide support and tools, but not legal or financial advice, unless such advice is explicitly provided by a qualified third-party partner.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • You misuse the Services or data
  • Required by law or regulatory order

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting Aupod support.

10. Modifications to the Platform

Aupod may update or modify the platform, pricing, or these Terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes via email or platform alert.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
